In January 2019, a group from the Rotary Club - District 6440 came to Bunnamweri and built 6 sustainable earth fish farms known as Aquaponics. These tanks should provide 220 pounds of meat per month and a supply of fresh tomatoes for the school to serve the students.

 

With an average household income of less than $700 per year, meat is a commodity most people don’t get to enjoy. The added protein will help the children with their physical and mental development.
